About Us

I'm Gail Joseph, and I started lampworking in January of 2004, and started my own studio in May of 2004.  I have been "crafty" for as long as I can remember. I started knitting at age 6, and was an avid participant in every art class, craft camp, and every creative opportunity from my preschool years on up. My first bead related activities were French beaded flowers (see photo). I added spinning, weaving, scrapbooking, crocheting, wirewrapping, handmade paper, rubberstamping, quilling (and more that I can't remember) through the years. Even in my destitute grad school days, all spare change went to yarn. That evolved into making sweaters which sold at boutiques, and during my early "Mom-days", designing knitting patterns for yarn companies such as "Ironstone™", "Berroco™", "Tahki™", and "Conschohocken™". My Master's and PhD degrees are in Developmental Psychology, and I teach Abnormal Psychology and Human Development part time at The University of Massachusetts. I have three great kids, and two great (yet nutty) dogs. My children's fears that my crafts will take over the house have come true!--Gail

As I do not have regular office hours for GG Glass out of my home, your best bet for reaching me is by email.  Please go to the "Contact Us" page to send an email or for phone info.
